Publications and Newsletters Sigma Tau Delta publishes three national publications (The Newsletter, The Rectangle and the Sigma Tau Delta Review), six regional newsletters and eNews. Distribution of Publications for New Members All new members receive a one-year’s subscription to the national publications: one fall and one spring newsletter, and two journals, The Rectangle and The Review, which are mailed in the spring. They will receive their first publication the semester after they join (excluding the summer semester). For example, if they join in the spring, they will receive their first newsletter the following fall semester and in the next semester after that they will receive the journals and another newsletter.
The NewsletterPublished since 1971, The Newsletter contains news of international and regional conventions, international writing contests, new chapters,
honor members, and local chapters. The Newsletter is issued biannually fall/spring.The next deadline for submissions is April 30, 2008.
The RectangleThis is an annual literary journal of non-fiction, fiction, and poetry of Sigma Tau Delta members. The next deadline for submissions is April 30, 2008.
The Sigma Tau Delta ReviewThis is an annual literary journal of critical essays on literature,
essays on rhetoric and composition, and essays devoted to pedagogical issues. The next deadline for submissions is April 30, 2008.
Regional NewslettersEach Region produces two newsletters a year, keeping their members up to date on local events. These newsletters are posted to the Sigma Tau Delta website in PDF format for members to download. Eastern Region · Far Western Region · High Plains Region
