Katherine Williams
Arkansas Tech University
Russellville, AR
Katherine Williams is a master's student at Arkansas Tech University, pursuing a Liberal Arts degree in Communications. She graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2011 with a B.A. in English, a B.F.A in Creative Writing, and a Film Studies minor. Her fields of interest include film theory and animal studies. Her ultimate dream is to be a "professional student" and to travel. She enjoys vegetarian cooking, running, and watching episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Since joining Sigma Tau Delta in 2009, Katherine has participated at the regional and Society levels, serving as Chapter President, Southwestern Associate Student Representative (2011-2012), Southwestern Student Representative (2012-2013), and currently as one of the Society's two Board-appointed Student Advisors (2013-2015).
Robert Durborow
Northern Kentucky University
Highland Heights, KY
Robert Durborow is currently a double major in Creative Writing and Theater with an Honors minor at Northern Kentucky University (NKU), and about to declare a third major in Graphic Design. He served as the Far Western Region Associate Student Representative for two consecutive terms in 2012 and 2013, and the VP and Historian of the Alpha Eta Nu Chapter at Southern Utah University before his recent transfer to NKU. Robert's work in Sigma Tau Delta thus far has concentrated on reactivating dormant chapters, establishing new ones, and connecting chapters across regions. He hopes to continue this work in his new role as a Student Advisor.
Robert's goals for the future include continued involvement in Sigma Tau Delta, teaching on the collegiate level, opening a small publishing house, and writing until all the words are used up. Could take a while.
