Helpful Suggestions

  1. Before scoring the applications, you may want to take some time to read all the applications to get a general sense of the quality from high to low. Just like when grading papers, you will want a broader sense of the submission field before evaluating.
  2. To give you context, there is one round of judging. The Service and Partnerships Chair selects from the averaged top scores five-six finalists and forwards those to the Executive Director for the Dollywood Foundation who will interview the finalists before making a final selection.
  3. For Marketing Internship
Use your best judgement for the Social Media Sample score. Did the applicant create the three images for the three platforms? Did the applicant provide an appropriate message? Was the applicant creative?
  4. For Affiliate Service Pilot Project Internship
Use you best judgement for the Business and Project Ideation samples. Is the content logical and easy to follow?
