- the social media challenge promoting the exclusive Facebook live premiere of the Imagination Library documentary, The Library That Dolly Built, Celebrating the People Who Made Dolly’s Dream Come True, on December 9, 2020 at 6 p.m. CST;
- the new spring internship for active students of Sigma Tau Delta Chapters; and
- future plans to establish a community service societies program, which is designed to match chapters of Sigma Tau Delta, Sigma Kappa Delta, and NEHS with Imagination Library Affiliate chapters across the US.

Renowned young adult author Chris Crutcher is the featured guest of National English Honor Society. Author of such books as Whale Talk, Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes, Chinese Handcuffs and others, Crutcher received the Margaret A. Edwards Award from the American Library Association for his contributions to writings for teens.
In preparation for this webinar, Crutcher writes, "There is so much human truth that comes out in good fiction and it seems to me that bringing those truths into the light has never been more important." A fierce defender of the students’ right to read and a vigorous critic of censorship, Crutcher will also share thoughts about "not only the right to read but the right to write and the importance of both." Submit to the Centennial Convention: Strategies and Tips

Are you interested in presenting your critical essay or creative work?
Do you want to engage with hundreds of other students and faculty at the Sigma Tau Delta Centennial Convention, April 3 - April 6 in St. Louis, MO?
This webinar will guide you through types of submissions, and on how to successfully prepare and submit a paper for convention. The convention submission period will be open September 18 through October 23, 5:00 p.m. CDT.
All active Sigma Tau Delta student members, Sigma Kappa Delta student members, and alumni members have the opportunity to submit critical and creative papers. Students may also submit Research in the Round proposals, and everyone, including faculty may submit a roundable.
