Student Convention Intern Duties

Each year the Convention Committee collectively appoints six Student Convention Interns to support the Convention Committee, Convention Chair(s), and Central Office in the planning and execution of the annual convention for a one year term. Eligible interns may re-apply the following year.

The Convention Interns report to the Convention Chair with the Event Planner providing administrative support. They are expected to work approximately two-and-a-half hours per week plus an additional 20 hours during the week of convention. They will receive a $500 stipend per semester and travel compensation for convention; however, Convention Interns are not members of the Board and do not receive travel compensation for Board meetings.
