Student Membership Intern Duties

Each year the Regents Committee collectively appoints six Student Membership Interns, one per Region for a one year term. Eligible interns may re-apply the following year. Generally, interns will serve their home chapter’s Region, although the Committee has the discretion to appoint an intern to another region.

The Membership Interns report to their respective Regent with the Director of Society Operations providing administrative support. They are expected to work approximately five hours per week and will receive a $900 stipend per semester plus a convention registration fee waiver. Membership Interns are not members of the Board and do not receive travel compensation for Board meetings or convention.

  • Full-time undergraduate or graduate status
  • Must plan on attending a school with an active chapter through the end of appointed one-year term (August 2026 – June 2027; potential onboarding/transitioning meetings outside of this period).
