Isaiah Russell (he/him) is a graduate student at Fort Hays State University (FHSU) in Hays, KS, pursuing an MA in English. Among other things, he is interested in studying postwar literature as well as rhetoric and composition. He completed his undergraduate degree from FHSU in May 2025. Since his senior year as an undergrad, he has served as President of Sigma Tau Delta’s Rho Psi Chapter. He also acts as an editorial member for Lines from the Middle of Nowhere, FHSU’s literary and arts journal. Isaiah joined Sigma Tau Delta in 2023 and served as the High Plains Student Representative over the 2024–2025 year. He now enjoys working closely with the Society and its members as a Student Advisor.

Kaylee Jo Stocks (she/her) is an English graduate student at Utah State University. Her emphasis is in writing and she loves both reading and writing fiction, particularly fantasy. She has two undergraduate degrees in English and Economics, is a certified yoga instructor, and recently acquired a publishing certificate from New York University. Kaylee Jo joined Sigma Tau Delta in 2023 and has served in leadership positions for the Society ever since. She is looking forward to stepping back into her position as Junior Student Advisor for the 2026–2027 academic year!

Allison Buchanan (she/her) is a junior at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), pursuing a BA in English, a minor in Creative Writing, and a certificate in publishing. She is also Vice President of the TCNJ chapter of Sigma Tau Delta and Executive Editor of The Lion’s Eye literary magazine on campus. Allison joined Sigma Tau Delta her sophomore year and attended her first convention in New Orleans last spring. She loves organizing coffeehouses, readings, and game nights for her peers in the TCNJ literary community. She is eager to share her literary passion with the Eastern Region!

McAye Fegler (she/her) is a senior at Chadron State College (CSC) majoring in Advanced English with subplans in both Literary Studies and Creative Writing. She is a Co-President for the Sigma Tau Delta chapter at CSC. McAye loves reading dystopian fiction and writing creative nonfiction pieces. After graduation, she plans to earn an MFA and MA in English related topics, and eventually earn a PhD to allow her to teach in post-secondary academia. In her free time, McAye enjoys baking and crocheting. She is excited to explore a different side of Sigma Tau Delta by representing the Far Western Region as a Membership Intern for the 2026–2027 school year.

She currently serves as the Treasurer of her local Sigma Tau Delta chapter and as secretary of her university’s Esports Club. She is an editor for two of her university’s magazines and a volunteer editor for The Facing Project. Katy enjoys creating whatever is possible in her free time, whether that is horror stories or crochet animals. She is excited to serve as the 2026–2027 High Plains Membership Intern!

GiGi Shallenberger (they/them) is a junior at Loras College in Dubuque, IA, pursuing a BFA in English Literature and English Creative Writing, with a minor in Irish Studies. They have been excited to be involved in the world of English literature and writing and are serving as their Chapter President for the 2026–2027 academic year. In addition to their Sigma Tau Delta duties, they are also the president of the Loras Literary Society as well as being involved in their school’s art club. Additionally, they serve as a Peer Advisor for incoming students to Loras College, further enhancing their experience with leadership. GiGi is also a published author and poet in several digital and physical journals and likes to read and write in their free time in addition to playing video games. GiGi is absolutely honored and thrilled to serve the Society as the Student Membership Intern for the Midwestern Region in the 2026–2027 academic term!

Zach Rider (he/him) is a junior at the University of Lynchburg, where he is majoring in English and Criminology. Aside from Sigma Tau Delta, he is also a fellow in the Westover Honors College and he is in his second year as a tutor at Lynchburg’s Wilmer Writing Center. He is serving in his first year as Membership Intern for the Southern Region. Outside of academia, Zach is a huge sports fan, enjoys spending time with family and friends, and performs semiprofessionally as a violist around Lynchburg. He is honored and excited for the opportunity to serve in Student Leadership.

Elizabeth Attebery (she/her) is a senior at Southern Arkansas University pursuing a double major in Modern Languages: Writing and Mass Communications: Mass Media as well as a minor in Digital Photography and Film. She has been a member of Sigma Tau Delta since 2023 and is entering her third term as the Epsilon Theta Chapter’s event coordinator. Elizabeth has attended the 2024 St. Louis and 2026 New Orleans Sigma Tau Delta Conventions, presenting original works as well as speaking on a roundtable. In addition to her current internships, Elizabeth works as a writing consultant at the SAU Writing Center. In her free time, Elizabeth offers photography services, plays video games, reads, writes creative nonfiction stories, and is learning to play the electric guitar. She is extremely excited to serve as the Membership Intern for the Southwestern Region!

Alexandra Hale (she/her) is a student at Calhoun Community College currently majoring in General Studies but she plans to transfer to a university to major in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice. She is currently the Historian of Sigma Kappa Delta’s Theta Beta Chapter and the co-editor of her school’s art catalogue, Muse. She enjoys reading, listening to pop music, playing with her cats, baking, and playing Mario Cart 8 with her friends. Alexandra is looking forward to serving and meeting new friends as a Convention Intern for the 2026–2027 year!

Lea Jones (she/her) is a rising senior at the University of Alabama. She serves as the Head Editor of Dewpoint (Phi Xi’s literary journal). She is an English major with a minor in Creative Writing, who has twelve publications across multiple literary journals on campus and loves to read and write! Lea is beyond grateful to serve as a Convention Intern and is excited for the festivities that lie ahead!
Nicholas Lipke

Nicholas Lipke (he/him) is a senior at the University of Georgia who majors in English with minors in History and Classics. Originally hailing from outside of Atlanta, he is interested in creative writing and fiction. He loves being involved in and meeting new people through various English organizations, including Sigma Tau Delta. Outside of class, his favorite thing is reading out in the fresh air, but movies and sushi are close seconds. Nick is very excited to be working with everyone in Sigma Tau Delta this year!
Anna Rundbaken

Anna Rundbaken (she/her) is an undergraduate student at the University of North Georgia, Gainesville where she is currently pursuing a major in Interdisciplinary Studies, combining English and Psychology. On campus, Anna works as a Supplemental Instructor and Writing Fellow for English courses, and serves as Vice President of the Alpha Upsilon Phi Chapter. When she is not on campus, you can find her hosting game nights, listening to musicals, or crafting. Her love of connecting with others has drawn her toward this leadership position as she has been attending convention since 2024. She is excited to see how many new friends she will make at convention, and how many times she can sneak in a comment about her three guinea pigs!
Johnna Ryan
Palm Beach Atlantic University

Johnna Ryan is a senior at Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBAU), majoring in English and Professional Writing and Editing with a minor in Creative Writing. She is currently serving as the 2026–2027 Chapter President of PBAU’s Sigma Tau Delta chapter, Alpha Zeta Mu, and she works as a Writing Coach at PBAU’s Writing Central. In fall 2025, she studied abroad at the University of Oxford and was a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholar.
She is serving as a Senior Editor of Living Waters Review, PBAU’s literary journal, and her written works have been published in several journals, including ellipsis… literature and art, As Surely As the Sun Literary, The Chimes Literary, Agape Review, Westmarch Literary Journal, and Living Waters Review. She has presented both creative and critical work at several conferences, including the Sigma Tau Delta convention, and the PBAU Interdisciplinary Research Conference.
Her favorite book is Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and when she is not reading, writing, or studying, she is usually cooking, listening to showtunes, or playing narrative video games. One fun fact about her is that she is a Third-Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate. She looks forward to assisting with the 2027 Convention and hopes to help make it a wonderful time for all members!
