Unveiling the Redesigned Sigma Tau Delta Website

The long-awaited redesign of the Sigma Tau Delta website is finally here!

The new site has been designed considering suggestions made by student and faculty members of the Board of Directors alike as well as feedback from outside sources. The new site is easier to navigate, eliminates repeated information, ensures that key information is easy to access from the homepage, and provides audience-specific information for student, faculty, and alumni members.

The new user-friendly design will make finding information on computers, tablets, and cellphones easier. Clear menus aimed at specific audiences (faculty, students, and alumni) will mean accessing information is quicker, too.

The new Opportunities section collects important information about all Society opportunities for all membership categories in one centralized location. Easily locate information about scholarships, awards, grants, internships, and publications, as well as past recipients of each in one place. The Opportunities section of the website is also where access to our AwardSpring submissions platform is located.

WORDY by Nature, the Society blog and news platform, now also is hosted within the Sigma Tau Delta website instead of as a standalone website. In addition to integrating WORDY by Nature into the new site, blog categories have been updated to facilitate access to content of most interest to our members such as posts about English Careers, Internships, Grants, Submissions, and Journals.

The header of the new site offers easy access to our various social media platforms, our academic calendar, a newly improved giving platform, and Chapter Advisor login to Write Away.

We have worked hard to ensure that the new site meets the needs of all our stakeholders and look forward to receiving your feedback.
