Autumn Mills

Autumn Mills is an alum and current student at Chadron State College. She graduated in 2024 with a Comprehensive Major in Advanced English Studies bachelor’s degree but is continuing to receive a Post-Baccalaureate in English Language Arts 7-12. She has three dogs that have her heart and she loves to travel.

1. I chose to become an English Major because Literature has always been a passion of mine and it is something I wish to share and encourage with others.

2. My favorite part of being an English Major/Minor is Learning about other people’s interests, connection on thoughts and ideas, and expanding my interests afterwards.

3. The last book I read was Sunrise On The Reaping by Suzanne Collins.

4. My favorite book/series is The Throne Of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

5. A book character I identify with is Aelin Galathynius from The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

6. The last book I bought was The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood and I am yet to read it.

7. My favorite book to movie adaptation is The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.

8. I’m more of a reader and writer.

9. My favorite style of writing is Narrative fiction.

10. My go-to children’s book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

11. My favorite childhood memory is my grandfather reading The Land of Stories – The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer whenever I visited.

12. Growing up, I was sure I would be a teacher.

13. My first job was as a lifeguard.

14. My dream job is to be a creative writing professor.

15. I like to spend my free time doing writing, reading, listening to music, watching movies, swimming, and anything crafty.

16. The destination at the top of my travel bucket list is anywhere in Germany.

17. The literary place I’d most like to visit is Velaris from the ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas.

18. If I could move anywhere in the world, I’d live in Brier, Washington.

19. If I was stranded on a desert island, the three things I would bring with me are my favorite book, a hammock, and an accordian fan.

20. What is one song you could listen to on repeat? Moon by Austin Giorgio.

21. The best gift I ever received was a silver dollar coin made the year I was born along with a German poem from my grandfather.

22. The best gift I’ve ever given is A small piece of land in Germany.

23. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up Red Velvet Cake.

24. If I could try any food from a book or series, it would be Turkish Delight from The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

25. The author (dead or alive) I’d most like to spend a day with is Stephen King.
