- I chose to become an English Major because reading and analyzing literature is my favorite thing to do. My classes and schoolwork give me a great outlet to explore the things I love.
- My favorite part of being an English Major is being part of the community. Connecting with students and faculty who have the same interests as me is very fulfilling.
- The last book I read was Tenth of December by George Saunders.

- My favorite book is Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
- A book character I identify with is Robin from Babel by R.F. Kuang. I really identify with his love for reading and studying, as well as his curiosity about the world.
- The last book I bought was Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, but I have not read it yet.
- My favorite book to series adaptation is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
- I’m more of a reader than a writer.
- My favorite style of writing is narrative prose fiction.
- My go-to children’s book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupérey.
- My favorite childhood memory is spending a few weeks every summer in a cabin in rural Idaho with my mother’s family.
- Growing up, I was sure I would be a professional musician.
- My first job was creating activities for children at a natural history museum.
